FINDING THE BALANCE: TRANSFORMATIONS BY VEELA
What if I had the answer to all your problems? What if I had a way for you to truly be happy? To have the job you’ve always wanted. To find the love of your life and have the relationship you’ve only dreamed about. What if you could have the wealth that you’ve always wanted and not have to sacrifice the peace at home you desperately need? What if I could give you the invaluable courage to pursue the dreams and visions you’ve been afraid of? Does this sound too good to be true? But I’m sure I’ve got your attention. This new column is going to address seven areas of your life:
1. Home Life
5. Career/Life Purpose
7. And last but not least, Sexuality
I have one word that I want you to meditate on as we embark on this journey together. Balance. It’s the one thing that can give you the happiness and contentment in all areas of your life that you so desire. At the end of the day no one ever says I spent too much time with my family and the people I love. But you can’t be afforded that luxury and the gift of time if you don’t have the means to do so. In other words; you can’t be a workaholic and expect to have a great relationship with your family and friends. But you can’t have that cohesiveness and not have your financial needs met. As a parent it’s the most devastating thing to continually have to say one word to your children, no. You are not alone; so many of us are living paycheck to paycheck. As a Life Coach and Spiritual Advisor my purpose is to help you live in abundance in all aspects of your life.
Do you think that we live in a poor country? We live in a country of abundance and wealth. Although we import a lot of goods into this country there are resources right where we are. The majority of wealth belongs to a select few, but we can become the moment, the collective that can change all of that. The Creator of all has given us access to live with privilege. There is no reason that any one of us should be poor, homeless or hungry. Think about it. Do you think the GOD you serve actually wants you to suffer or go without? I think we all know the answer. If you have to pray about it please do. I still think we’ll come to the same conclusion.
Some may call me a radical, but I’m in good company Jesus was labeled a rebel rouser by the pious Pharisees. I find it interesting that those who call themselves “saved” or “religious” can’t recognize GOD’S own or be open to the move of the Spirit. I sincerely believe if you change your way of thinking and begin to change your mind you can easily change your life. Whether you believe the Bible, look to the Quran, or scribe to metaphysics; one principal holds true: As a man thinketh so is he (remember when looking at Scripture there is no male of female). I could have easily said: As a woman thinketh so is she.
No Scripture lesson today. I don’t believe that religion is what draws us together. Actually, it is what has kept us enslaved from the days of slavery to the storefront churches that don’t address the needs of the people. I’ll expound on this topic at a later date. I just wanted to introduce myself and explain why I’m here. First I’m a Life Coach and I’ve been endowed with training and instruction that helps me help you. My purpose as a Life Coach is to help you live the life you want. My job is to guide you in living your dreams. We often miss the moment and lose our future holding on to the past. I can help you learn to accept your past and embrace your future while living and appreciating the moment. As a Spiritual Advisor it is my consecrated duty not to tell you what to do, make judgments about you, or decide for you. It is about facilitating guidance to follow your own heart. The answers lie within. So I’m inviting you to meet me right here each week and as I find my way I’ll share with you so that we can find that balance together.
