We live in a day and age of extreme violence and complete social injustice. There is no justice. It’s just us. Rarely do I get to see great examples of role models. There aren’t enough Robin Roberts, Kerry Washingtons or Lupita Nyong'os. They are outweighed by the Rihannas, Kenya Moores and ridiculous caricatures of not only Black women, but Black men.

JESUS IS NOT YOUR BOYFRIEND!

I thank GOD that my Mother introduced me to GOD and I have a personal relationship with Jesus. The Word of GOD says no one comes to the FATHER but by the Son. GOD’s Word does not change. People change. Even circumstances will change, but thankfully GOD’s Word stays true.

Go to any church, small or large and you’ll see the women outnumber the men at least 3 to 1. That’s probably too conservative an estimate. Find a woman who is a single parent in the congregation and you won’t go far. A lot of young women have gotten “saved” after having a child out of wedlock. Many sought the refuge of the church after a failed marriage. But more use the sanctity of their relationship with GOD as an excuse to not have any type of relationship.

I believe that my faith has kept me sane, but so many use their faith to hide from the world. I John 5:4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
