I HAVE WAITED ALL MY LIFE FOR YOU, BUT I DIDN’T KNOW IT

A REAL WOMAN CAN TAKE A BOY TO MAN, BUT A REAL MAN MAKES A WOMAN FEEL LIKE A GIRL.” ~Veela aka Venus

Life is a curious thing. You have your life all mapped out. What do they say about the best laid plans? That’s where the DIVINE steps in. When real love happens it’s never planned. It just happens.

I posted the above status and a male friend asked that I be even more specific about what it is that a “real woman” requires. First of all; to get a true understanding we must define what a “real woman” is. A real woman may look ordinary, but does the extraordinary and doesn’t find it out of the ordinary. For her it’s a typical day. Most women I know are phenomenal. They work full-time. Raise their children. And they may even be running a business; going back to school. They don’t view what they do as extraordinary; it’s just par for the course. They don’t see it as unusual because they were raised by Mothers that did the same. This is what you were expected to do.

I was asked if a woman wants her man to make her feel like a girl. Just like love; it’s an involuntary reflex. We do it unconsciously. Every expectation goes out the window. When the “real man” shows up he looks nothing like we expected. All preconceived notions are eliminated. He becomes our personal “Superman.” He doesn’t wear a cape or costume. He physically may not have the attributes that we said we couldn’t live without, but he’s our own personal Super Hero. He may not leap buildings in a single bound, but he’s doing everything to make sure we have a roof over our head. He doesn’t display great feats of strength, but he would carry the weight of the world on his shoulders to take the stress off of us.

A “real man” loves his woman in ways she’s never experienced before. He is dedicated to making her happy. He would do anything in the world to make her smile. He wakes up asking himself what I can do to make her life better today. What can I do to make her smile? It’s a humbling yet exhilarating thing to have a man so in to you that you are his complete focus. He wants to take care of you, and considers it his pleasure to do so. Women are so use to taking care of everyone else that when we experience this love first-hand we become children. Imagine that you’ve had to grow up fast and take on responsibilities early in life. Then this wonderful man comes and says what can I do to make your life better? It’s overwhelming! We become girly and giddy out of excitement, and pure pleasure. It’s something unexpected and never experienced. Like a child with a new toy or Christmas day; we can’t believe the joy.

A “soul mate” is someone who cares about the status of your soul. Someone who truly loves you wants to be assured that you have a personal relationship with HIM. What is your standing with GOD? Every good and perfect thing comes from GOD. Status always signifies improvement. When you find the other half of your heart you become a better woman; a better Mother, a better friend, a better lover. Not that they complete you, but they do add that polish. Instinctively that woman becomes a better wife and partner through this relationship where GOD is the foundation. I truly believe that you can’t have a successful relationship until you’re in relationship with HIM. The man is the head of the household. Women have taken on that role out of necessity. This is the natural order of things. When we return to what GOD had ordained our lives become easier. Even the strongest woman succumbs to the most ordinary man when he loves her.

“What GOD has put together let no man put asunder.” The Word also says that a man should love his wife as Jesus did the church. When a man is after GOD’s heart his woman will follow him anywhere.

I have waited all my life for you, but I didn’t know it. You’re not what I expected, but thank GOD you are everything that I needed.
